Formation of Mahallah Representative Committee (MRC)

Below are the guidelines and procedure for the formation of Mahallah Representative Committee (MRC) in Centre for Foundation Studies International Islamic University Malaysia (CFS IIUM).

We, Mahallah Representative Committee Mahallah Umar Al-Khattab & Mahallah Fatimah Az-Zahra (MRC UMAFZ) have tried and done our very best to serve for the ummah, especially mahallah residents.

Maybe there are some drawbacks throughout our session as MRC. So, we would like to apologize from all residents of Mahallah UMAFZ for the deficiencies.

We would also like to thank everybody who supports us along Session 13/14. Deputy Dean and staffs of RMD, Principal UMAFZ, Fellows, MRC from other mahallat and the residents.

We hope the next line-up will continue our effort and try to be much better than us.

A Visit To Rumah Jagaan Anak Kesayangan PJ

Charity Week 2014 was an intra-mahallah programme organized by MRC Mahallah Umar Al-Khattab & Fatimah Az-Zahra (UMAFZ) and MRC Mahallah Abu Bakar As-Siddiq (MAB).

In conjunction with the programme, we made a significant visit to Rumah Jagaan Anak Kesayangan PJ. A lot of activities games were conducted by the committees to entertain the orphans. Besides that, we had a lunch with them and they were so happy to have it with us, the committees of Charity Week 2014.

We donated the money that we have collected from the students in Centre For Foundation Studies International Islamic University Malaysia (CFS IIUM) to the orphanage. Other than that, we also gave some pocket money to the orphans.

There were really glad that we came to visit them, and it was so hard for them to say goodbye to us. Some of them, hugged and persuaded us to come and visit them again.

We, the committees learned a lot of things from the visit. We hope, we can still continue serving for the ummah in the future.

Mahallah Training Session 13/14

Mahallah Training for 2013/2014 session was held from 20th to 22nd September 2013 at Pangkor Village Beach Resort, Pangkor Island, Perak. The training was organized by Mahallah Representative Committe (MRC) of Mahallah Abu Bakar and Mahallah UMAFZ (Umar Al-Khattab & Fatimah Az-Zahra) in collaboration with Office of Deputy Dean Residential Management & Discipline (RMD).

The participants were selected among the hisbah line-up and also residents from each mahallah. A lot of activities were carried out by the organizers and participants throughout the training. Among the activities were jungle trekking, island hopping, talk, forum, qiamullail and games.

Assalamualaikum W.B.T...

MRC UMAFZ 13/14 Session would like to welcome all students especially UMAFZ residents to new semester.

May Allah SWT will give us strength to face the upcoming challenges.

MRC will organize a lot of interesting programmes either inter-mahallah or intra-mahallah level throughout the semester 3. So, we hope all students will support us so that all programmes organized by MRC will be a success.

If there are any complaints or suggestions to improve our mahallah, please don't be hesitate to voice it out to Mahallah Representative Committee(MRC) of each mahallah.
